If your small child would enjoy a quiet diversion during the worship service, please see one of the greeters for a children’s “Quiet Bag.” Please return the bags to the basket at the welcome table in the foyer after the worship service. FEED THE HUNGRY - ACS CENTER AT 403 FOOD PANTRY This is the time of year when we have the most demand for food. We average the following in assistance to the community: Over $3,000 a month is given to those in need.We help an average of 100 families each month.403 Center purchases food items as needed, at cost and sales tax free. We are able to do so much as a result of your donations and we appreciate the food that you bring in to our center and to the collection baskets at our area churches. We would like to encourage you to consider giving cash for food as well. We benefit more with cash. Why? Because we can purchase food in bulk and select the food needed to re-stock the pantry. Your cash donations are tax deductible. If you donate now, you can receive a deduction for the 2011 calendar year. TAX FREE and AT COSTYour dollars buy 20 – 30% more food when you donate cash, rather than food items.
