TODAY’S THE DAY – to think about the value you place on your eyesight. And to think about how your generosity can help the blind see Jesus through the Church’s outreach ministry to those who can’t see like you do. Christian Record Services for the Blind hope it never needs to serve you with Braille, large-print, or audio materials due to sight loss. But you can help make sure it’s here for those who depend on its services. To direct your church offering toward helping the blind see Jesus, please write CRSB on your tithe envelope or use the special envelope provided.

HEAL Health Brief: Like most people you probably feel uneasy discussing your digestive system in polite company. We all love to eat, of course, but we don't care to think about what happens to that veggie burger or Big Mac once it disappears from our hands. We seem to practice a "don't ask, don't tell" policy on our own digestive systems. This strategy works well enough, until your gallbladder refuses to go to work or your gut decides to show a little insubordination. Then, suddenly, you want to know what's going on down there in the dark. Come join us for “A Look At The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM” Part 2 -  stomach, large intestines; detox and cleansing, and much more, Thursday, May 3rd, Nashville First Church Library at 6:00 p.m.

The Adventist Community Services Center – Remember, we are responsible for keeping the following food items in stock: Canned beans (all varieties), canned tomatoes, canned fruit, canned soup, canned pasta sauce, pasta noodles (i.e. spaghetti). When we don’t do our part, others must step in and cover for us . . . Please bring in 3 or 4 cans each week to help us keep “our” shelves stocked!

Sermon Copies: We have available upon request copies of sermons presented each Sabbath. Please find the clip-board in the foyer on the lectern by the double doors and fill out forms you will find there. DVDs are $5.00 and CDs are $3.00. Please give your completed form and funds to the Media personnel (Ric Andal, Brent Cordis, Lauren Andal) and your order will be processed for the next week. Please Note: You may view sermons from our website (nfsda.org) for free!

Please continue to save the UPC/bar code portion of packaging/labels from Worthington Foods, Loma Linda Foods, Morningstar Farms, Morningstar Farms Organic and Natural Touch products. Bring your labels to the church and place in the drop-box located in the foyer. Reimbursed labels will go to the quarterly Sabbath School mission project.
