Nelson Mercado — Sat, 12 Sep 2026 11:05:00 -0500

Many people in the church today believe that tithes should be redirected based on their opinions of what church leaders are doing or not doing. Is it our responsibility to decide where to return our tithes? Additionally, does God still expect New Testament Christians to contribute their tithes to the church?

Faithful with the First

Nelson Mercado — Sat, 05 Sep 2026 23:05:00 -0500

Sometimes, God asks us to do things that might seem illogical. We often think, "It just doesn't add up." This is particularly true with the tithe, which He commands us to return to Him. Is the practice of tithing biblical? If so, can we choose where our tithe should go?

Nelson Mercado — Sat, 09 May 2026 11:05:00 -0500

Nelson Mercado — Sat, 07 Mar 2026 22:09:00 -0600

A Deceptive Story

Nelson Mercado — Sat, 01 Nov 2025 11:05:00 -0500

One of Satan's most powerful deceptions revolves around the concept of the "Immortality of the Soul." This notion suggests that human beings possess a soul that is separate from the body and, consequently, immortal. There is a story in the Old Testament that has often been misinterpreted to support this erroneous conclusion. However, when we study it in context, the intended meaning becomes clear.
