The prophet Isaiah boldly states that a bruised reed will not break and a dim wick will not be extinguished. When life challenges us to our limits, we prevail not just through our toughness, but because of a powerful inner strength given to us by God that carries us through the struggle.

"And He shall be called Immanuel." In biblical times, a name carried deep meaning. God’s love for us was so immense that He chose to become one of us, and in doing so, gave us the greatest gift of all.
